FAQ

what is Georgia Boy?

Georgia Boy is a multi-course, multi-sensory chef's table experience created by Chef Joey Ward located inside a private dining room that is accessed through Southern Belle. The tasting menu explores Ward's creative mind, introducing the cuisine of the South through his inventive, colorful lens.

Georgia Boy has four seatings of eight guests sharing a communal table each night at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 8 pm, and 9 pm. The Georgia Boy tasting menu experience is $255 per person, including service, includes 14-16 courses, and lasts approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. Curated wine ($132) or non-alcoholic pairings ($82) are also available to accompany your tasting menu.

Reservations are released 28 days in advance at noon. Reservations canceled or modified (including number of guests) 12-48 hours prior to your reservation will receive a gift card for the amount of the reservation deposit.

Please note that Georgia Boy seating is at a high-top table; please let us know in advance if you need special accommodations or wheelchair seating.

Can I see what's on the menu?

Georgia Boy is a blind tasting — you get to sit back, relax, and let us worry about the decisions! We do not release the menu in advance.

Traffic and parking in Atlanta can be crazy, but please let us know if you are running more than five minutes late so we may plan accordingly. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may miss courses.

I have a group larger than eight — can we fit in Georgia Boy?

Contact us about our private half- and full-night buyouts of Georgia Boy for up to 16 people.

Where do I park?

Free parking is available in front of and behind the restaurant. Paid parking is available along Cleburne Ave. and in the paid parking deck behind Druid Hills Baptist Church. We encourage using a rideshare service where possible.

Can we bring our own wine?

Due to the nature of the experience, we typically do not allow outside bottles in Georgia Boy.

What is your dress code?

We do not have a dress code — we want you to be comfortable. Our staff wears jeans, and most of our guests tend to end up somewhere in the realm of business casual.

What is this about a fragrance policy?

Georgia Boy is a multi-sensory experience in a communal setting; because perfume and cologne can be disruptive to the experience of others, we ask that you refrain from wearing fragrances while dining. Excessive perfume or cologne may result in denied service and a cancellation fee.

Can I arrive early and sit at the bar?

Limited lounge seating in the Southern Belle is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can we bring our kids?

Georgia Boy is more of a "grown-up" experience, and we require all our guests to participate in the tasting menu. While we do not allow infants, toddlers, or young children, if you feel your child is mature enough to enjoy and appreciate a multi-course tasting experience, we welcome them.

Do you accept cash?

For the safety of our team, we are a cash-free restaurant.

Do you have gift cards?
